Jump on the Bandwagon

-Stimson; Temple
S(3:16)

I say, what's happened to you?
You really used to be so much (fun...)
Happens it's true:
It's turning out you're just like no one.

I say, I'm feeling so sad,
'Cause you aren't one of us: you're draggin'.
We aren't all that bad.
Be our friends. Why don't you
Jump on the bandwagon?

'Cos I don't know
What anyone thinks, but I'm feelin' down.
You don't understand me,
And you don't even try.
You are so bad.
Such physical things I can't comprehend.
I know I never will --
Never 'till the day I die.

Hey hey, you know I'm okay.
I remember when you'd say that you loved (me...)
I want you to (for me) say
What you're right now thinking of me.

Hey hey, now don't feel so bad.
I know on this world you're gaggin'.
I know I was mad,
But yes it's okay if you
Jump on the bandwagon.

I love you more
Than anyone else in the whole wide world
Could ever love you,
And I don't need to try.
I need you more
Than ever you will understand.
Oh how I'll love you --
Love you 'till the day I die.

INST ((band music))
"Why do you desert us?"

'Cos I don't know
What anyone thinks, but I'm feelin' down.
You don't understand me,
And you don't even try.
You are so bad.
Such physical things I can't comprehend.
I know I never will --
Never 'till the day I die.

((Short trumpet bursts + horn riff))
FADE

The second chorus, "I love you more...," was written in 1978 and dropped into the middle of this song, where it otherwise has no place. Also, "draggin'" in verse 2 is probably a play on "dragon."
