Faculty Senate Blues

INST INTRO

You know I never have that much to say.
I do my work, and I collect my pay.
But still, it seems this time there's something new.
I got the Faculty Senate blues.

We're here to talk about the mascot.
It seems the most important thing we've got.
Then we'll debate about the logo too:
We'll argue if it's red or blue.

The other colleges around the state,
They give us so many things to hate.
There are so many things that they've done wrong.
We'll talk about them all semester long.

INST BRIDGE

I know you're all so glad I'm almost through,
But there is one more thing that I must do,
And so, my friends, I am telling you
I got the gone-to-meeting,
Faculty Senate,
Board of Regents blues.
